SDD1 - Axonometric Drawing and Additive Geometry

In this project, I drew a 3D geometric model of cube, pyramid, and cylinder. These geometric objects are attached to one another. Then I composed 10 cubes, 10 pyramid, and 10 cylinder in one drawing. After that, I gave shadow by rendering. All must be done in 4 hours.

SDD1 - Lines and Rendering

In this assignment, I learned about lines and rendering. The purpose was to practice making constant straight lines and also understand the rendering as an effect of repetitive lines for giving tones in a drawing.

Basic Design Studio 1 (Studio Dasar Desain 1)

This is my very first studio learning of architecture. In this class we learn about the very basic things of design. I learned about points, lines, planes, and volumes which are the primary elements of architecture. I also learned about perception and abstraction in design. It's like learning a new language when we enter a new world. The world of architecture design has its own unique language that I should know first. This studio course is pretty shocking at the beginning. But as I learn to follow the rhythm, i got  more excited and fun. Following are some of my works in SDD1.

Architecture is a dream fullfilled. Designing and creating the built environment is an opportunity to express not only hopes and dreams but also the hopes and dreams of our entire society and culture. Architecture is foremost an artistic expression. The result os an environtment that provides fulfillment, blessing, and peace, the things that compose the dreams of all peoples.

Introduction

This blog is my personal archives of my earliest works since I began my study of architecture in The Department of Architecture, Faculty of Design and Planning, Universitas Pelita Harapan. I started my journey in architecture in August 2011. This is a surprising, exciting and vary challenging for me. What you will see in this blog is not a really fine or great works, but these are very meaningful to me. These represent the process of learning that I had from the first step I enter the world of architecture. Even though not all are good, I'm really proud of it. I love this world and I will spend the rest of my life designing, planning, and building.
